Volkswagen: The 1959 VW Beetle "Think Small" print ad is one of the most famous advertisements in history. Now, 60 years later, VW will no longer make the beetle. Create a print ad to commemorate the end of this famous car. This idea won me one of twelve places on School of Thought 2019.
THINK! Road Safety: Create a TV ad that persuades drivers to stop using their phones and driving. “Dead Man Texting” tells the story of a young man stupid enough to have been texting behind the wheel. In fact, he’s so distracted by his phone, he doesn’t even realise he’s dead until his battery dies. To the tune of ‘Just Can’t Get Enough’ by Depeche Mode, of course.
